Our Project

We are tasked with designing a mobility assist device for the elderly, people in rehabilitation, or people with compromised balance. The device must serve as an aid for walking, going up and down stairs, and must be foldable and easy to carry along. To meet these requirements, a comprehensive project proposal including the budget, design, and analysis of the design must be completed.

Challenges

Some challenges that we expect to arise in the future include innovation, creating a good strength to weight ratio, using cost effective materials which still fulfill our requirement, and creating a device that can accomplish our performance requirements while still being portable.
